ARC20

Webmagazine identity design / July 2016 / W. Max Ryan

ARC20 is the latest issue of the Royal College of Art students yearly magazine ARC, curated by the first year students in MA Critical Writing in Art & Design.

The design of the website followed the radical intention to fully democratize the website navigation experience. The symbols represent different types of content and appear randomly on top of every page on the website, providing a non-hierarchical structure to the webmagazine. The issue number 20 of ARC is exclusively digital: its front page is always a random piece of content; the submissions call will never close. Type on any page, and all content will appear.
